General information
Hydrogen is playing an increasingly important role in the sustainability of mobility.
On the first course day, we will focus primarily on the following topics:
What is hydrogen?
How is hydrogen produced?
An electrolyser and the fuel cell.
Refuelling with hydrogen in transport and other basic concepts and ideas.
Practical applications and guidance on conducting demonstrations during lessons, plus tips for teaching materials.
On the second day, we will focus primarily on how the fuel cell works in the context of mobility. We will begin by using a hydrogen-powered model car that features all the components found in real-life vehicles such as a Hyundai, a Toyota and all other brands that use fuel cells. We will bring a Hyundai IX35 into the workshop and examine this vehicle. We will identify and discuss the components. We also have a fuel cell from a Hyundai so that we can examine everything in detail. The second day is primarily practical in nature.
You will also be given access to the digital learning environment (Electude), which you can make extensive use of after the course days.
This intensive training equips you with the knowledge and skills to work safely, professionally, and with a future-oriented perspective on hydrogen technology in the mobility sector.
Our training courses are eligible for funding by the Erasmus plus key action 1 (KA1 learning mobility of individuals).
